The MikroTik mAP 2nD is a compact dual-chain 2.4 GHz wireless access point designed for portable and space-constrained installations. Measuring just 68 x 68 x 19 mm, this micro AP delivers full RouterOS capabilities in a tiny form factor ideal for travel, temporary setups, hotel rooms, vehicles, or small office use.
It features a 650 MHz QCA9531 processor, 64 MB of RAM, and 16 MB of flash storage. The dual-chain 802.11b/g/n radio supports data rates up to 300 Mbit/s with integrated 1.2 dBi antennas. Two 10/100 Ethernet ports provide connectivity, with Ether1 supporting 802.3af/at PoE input and Ether2 offering passive PoE output up to 500 mA to power a second device.
Power options include a DC jack (8-57 V), passive or active PoE, and microUSB, making the unit highly flexible. The mAP runs RouterOS Level 4, enabling advanced features such as firewall, VPN, hotspot gateway, and routing functions. Its small size, multiple power inputs, and PoE passthrough make it a versatile solution for creating a wireless access point or portable router anywhere power is available.
